The design process
No two projects are ever the same. Each has unique requirements and financial needs. I've outlined my design process below, to give you an idea of what to expect.
Finding the right designer for your project
IHiring an interior designer is a big step, you want to make sure you have hired the right person for your project, to help with your decision-making, so I like to start with a no-obligation 10-to-15-minute discovery call with prospective clients so we can both find out a bit about each other.
The discovery call
This call is for clients to share details about the project and the budget, without any obligation. I will also explain my business and services, how my fees work, and how I can help.
Following the call, I will send you my welcome pack with everything you need to know. If we are then both happy to progress, we will move to the consultation stage
The consultation
I offer both online and in-person consultations, depending on the location of the project and project requirements.
Typically, I will visit the project site, spend 1-1.5 hours discussing the project requirements with you, and take a comprehensive brief, measurements, and photos of the site so I can then work up a more detailed quotation proposal and plan.
The concept
After approval of the scope of work and quotation, the design work can commence.
I will present clients with an initial concept design, which outlines the direction of the project, capturing the look and feel of the project and the client's tastes.
Once this is approved I progress to the design and finishes stage.

The design and finishes
The client is supplied with a fully worked-up room design scheme, including the colour scheme, samples of the final finishes for walls, floors, window coverings, and any hardware. Bespoke carpentry requirements, furniture plans, and the client's shopping list of items, with access to my trade discounts if purchased using my procurement service.
